November is almost here!
While November is typically all about Thanksgiving, we all still need to eat the other 29 days the month, right?
Right.
So, to help you out, I’m sharing 30 recipes, one for each day of the month, to help keep you full and satisfied during this time of increasing holiday stress and joy.
Here in New England, fall and winter produce looks much the same. That’s to say that, perhaps with the exception of kale and carrots, the vast majority of the local food available from October – February was harvested back in September and kept in cold storage to stay fresh. So, to add some variety to our lives, I’m also including some recipes this month that take advantage of chocolate and pantry ingredients to help keep our lives exciting during the months of limited seasonal produce.
This month we’re highlighting: potatoes, green tomatoes, beets, watermelon radishes, winter squash, cauliflower, cabbage, kale, turmeric, ginger, and garlic.
The recipes below are divided into breakfast, lunch/dinner, dessert, and snacks/other, to help you navigate them more easily. Enjoy!
